After a long two months break, i'm back to uni once again with mixed feelings. I miss my family and friends back at home and most importantly, the food! haha.. I had a great time during hols catching up with friends and a memorable trip to Jo's (thanks dad)!
Anyway, I am also excited for this new academic year. I can't believe time passed SOO fast! I am now a final year student! I can still vividly recall my first day in UKM, wasn't a very good experience thou. I freaked out when I stepped into my first hostel room. Couldn't accept the tiny room and not so pleasant bathroom. But now, whatever room you give me (as long as it's single room), I can survive! I am very pleased with my new single room. THANK GOD FOR THAT! All the waiting at 6am pays off well! Great internet connection, very cooling, clean and decent furniture. The minus point is just the bathroom and the fierce and slightly irrational 'warden'. Oh ya, and not forgetting to thank my dear sister and parents in helping me to clean and carry my overweight stuff! HUGS! <3
At the end of my holiday, I regretted so much for not utilizing my time in my thesis research well. I was fearful and worry of the outcome. Will I be able to find the journal that I want? Will I get A for my thesis? Is this semester really gonna be as hard/busy as what the seniors have warned? All these worries flooded my mind and made me lose focus on what is more important. But I thank God for Pastor's sermon today. Do not let the worries of life choke me out of my blessings and passion. I have turned my forethoughts to fearful thoughts. Hence, I decided to just trust in Jesus and lean not on my own understanding. God has proven to me from time to time again on how faithful and how great He is! He has done so many miracles in my uni life and now I know He won't forsake me.
Yesterday's YES gathering was a gentle reminder of how I should continue to press on God's calling in my life. God confirmed the message today again on breaking through in our spiritual life, and our mindset. All these starts from being discipline and spending sweet time with dear Jesus everyday! I am so glad to have such great Father in Heaven!
Sidenote : How ironic this is. When I am free at home having hols, i don't bother to blog. But now when i'm back in uni, I blog. hahaha..
