Yeap, came back from the not-so-cold Genting for Youth Ministry Leader's Retreat and it was a blast.! Hanging out with these people is always very fun and interesting. I am never bored with their jokes, stories etc. Because they are just super awesome people who are impossible to not to love!
We've got Stef with her never ending Mimi story. Han-ni who's afraid of being blindfolded. Emily who leads Han-ni astray. Tommy with his lame jokes. Andrew and his full mood. Connie who never fails to crave for more food (or maybe it's the baby inside her)! Harp with her creative "customer! customer" game. yada yada.. oh and I'm glad to know Grace my roomie even more! Since she's always so quiet and gentle but I discovered a strong side of her! The best part about this team is that we could joke at each other without constraint (I mean, of course not too over la). Besides the fun and hype, there're just so much to learn from them! Super smart people. haha..
Learnt lots as well about teamwork =). Of course teamwork is more than a classroom session but a constant effort to build/encourage/ lift each other to move towards a high performance team. Many things I've picked up, more things that I need to work on, resolve and ponder too. Ultimately, I know God is gonna do a super cool work in YF but of course we have to be obedient and sensitive to what He is doing amongst the youth and us.!
Kudos to Doreen and her people who made this a success! This is the reason I want to go for Leader's Retreat even though I have VIVA tomorrow. OK, speaking of that, it's time to study and read my thesis! Do pray for me. Really hope all will go well tomorrow! I trust Dad, my Rock to help me through this!
